A lovely, newly decorated double room on the second floor of a modern, eco friendly town house in the Greenwich Millennium Village. Overlooking a south facing, internal garden, the room is flooded with sunlight. Built with a very high sloping roof ceiling and a fitted wall wardrobe the room is spacious with lots of storage space and is fully furnished. There is also optional provision of bedding and towels.
Rent includes wi-fi, all household bills and use of telephone (for national and european numbers, excluding mobiles). The house has two bathrooms, a large, open plan kitchen, dining and living and private patio. The house is shared with home owner and her two children (aged 12 and 16). The family has a dog, Aku who lives on the ground floor. Cleaning is shared between all the residents.
We are a bilingual family, Italo/English and live a more mediterranean lifestyle than an English one, having lived in Italy until three years ago. We are very friendly, love meeting new people from all over the world but respect people's privacy. We are on friendly terms with all of our past lodgers.
The Millennium Village is perfectly situated for access to central London and yet has a peaceful, village like atmosphere. We are three minutes from local shops, an IMAX cinema, restaurants and 5 mins from the 02 concert venue. Very close to the Thames and an ecology park, GMV is surrounded by greenery and trees, close to Greenwich Park and the beautiful centre of Greenwich. Adjacent to 6 bus routes and 5 mins from the jubilee line, we are 20 minutes from Central London and are also close to the A2 which offers easy access to Kent and Surrey.
This room would work well for either a couple (with a double bed) or for sharers (two single beds). I suggest anyone at all interested should come and look at this wonderful room and consider the opportunity to live in the comfort of a quiet, family house with easy access to the excitement of London life.
