The House is within easy reach of Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Heritage Coastline and beautiful award winning sandy 'Blue Flag' beaches.
Way marked cycle and walking routes such as ‘The Mill Trail’ and ‘Nico’ cycle circuit are right on the doorstep of Old Forge House. Llyn Alaw, the largest freshwater lake on Anglesey is only minutes drive away and has an abundance of flora and fauna making it a wildlife and birdwatchers paradise.
Snowdonia National Park, which on clear days can be seen from Elim, is only thirty minutes or so drive from the cottage where stunning mountain vistas, peaks and valleys can be seen and explored. For those of you who want to explore further a field, then the port of Holyhead is only 15 to 20 minutes drive away and offers daily sea crossings to Dublin, Ireland.
