Land For Sale in Pico Island - Azores

Pico Island is situated in the Azores archipelago, which is located in the Atlantic Ocean, between Europe and America. The archipelago has nine islands that belong to the Portuguese Government. The archipelago was discovered in the XV century.
Pico Island was recently considered one of the best 20 islands, to live, in the world, by the Canadian Magazine "Islands" (August issue) for its quality of the atmosphere and environment.
The land for sale is about 15 acres and is located on the south of the island, in the town of Candelária. When standing in the land you can see the mountain of Pico (2.351 meters high) and you can also see the island of Faial that is right in front of Pico (see picture). Faial is a half an hour, boat ride, away from Pico. The main village nearby is Madalena which is 8 km far.
The land does not have any construction in it, except for a well. But if you wish to build a house, it is authorized. In the land the are lots of trees. There are no houses with in a range of 500 meters. There are grape vines nearby and trees. It is a peaceful place to live.
