The village of Monkland is a quiet, safe and pretty village with very little traffic, a pretty common to walk the dog on and lots of local footpaths. It is about 3 miles from Leominster, a busy little town with a B&Q, several supermarkets, doctors and dentists, and cottage hospital. Local shops include many antique shops, cafes, hardware, butchers, greengrocer, post office and many others. In the catchment for Ivington village school and nursery.
